  • Many more, please inquire for more detailsmembers, and guests. JOB SUMMARY: Provide exceptional service to the guests and visitors to Hawks Cay Resort and Marina. Responsible for maintaining a courteous and friendly attitude to the customers of the marina and resort guests. Be knowledgeable of all activities and their prices for all recreational opportunities offered at Hawks Cay Resort and Marina. Accept and confirm fishing charter reservations. Be knowledgeable of and be able to explain the various fishing options available to our guests. Accept and confirm slip reservations with deposits in the computer system and confirm these reservations to the guests. Check status of marina reservations daily confirming check-in, check-out, deposits paid, and slips assigned. Act as marina liaison to resort groups Confirming boats for group charters, updating SMS, quoting pricing and providing group confirmations, reconfirming boats prior to charter date and billing the payments for the charters. Quoting transient slip blocks for groups, blocking the slips, accepting and confirming individual call-in reservations for the group slips, and billing for the slips. Check and respond to e mail messages sent to Perform other such duties as directed by the Dock Master. Perform duties for Food and Beverage assisting with reservations.What you will have an opportunity to do:QUALIFICATIONS: A high school education is preferred, but not mandatory. Individuals must be able to communicate intelligently with customers, marine regulatory agencies and concessionaires and perform math solutions that require the use of a calculator. Prior computer reservations experience is desired but is not essential. The ability to learn and use the computer reservations system as well as the internet and e-mail systems is essential. Reservationists should maintain a neat, well groomed appearance, and be in a clean and approved uniform when on duty, and have a genuine concern and desire to provide exceptional service to our guests and also have very good communication and organizational skills, be tactful and have a good rapport with people.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good eyesight and hearing are essential for prompt customer services responses.
