In this position, you will be expected to have an intermediate level knowledge of proper preparation and coating application procedures. If you enjoy people and are committed to doing excellent work, then we want to hear from you.Job Responsibilities and Requirements* Always smile, be polite, and respectful to all team members, clients, and generally everyone around you.* You must have a working smartphone with ample memory and functionality to be able to use our apps.* Understands and follows painting preparation procedures (i.e. Sanding, caulking, patching, etc.)* Perform standard painting functions (e.g., paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.) that are aligned with industry-standard production rates and can be performed within these standards; meets O R Painting standard practices.* Perform spackling, wallpaper removal, popcorn removal, blow-out patching.* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.* Use, set up, and move ladders and scaffolds.* Use, set up, operate, and clean small tools and equipment (i.e. sanders, sprayers, ladders, power washers, etc.).* This position requires a physical demand level of heavy; In an 8-hour day, an employee must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull the following:Occasional: 50 - 100 lbs (0 - 33% of the workday)Frequent: 20 - 50 lbs (34 - 66% of the workday)Constant: 10 - 20 lbs (67 - 100% of the workday)* Basic safety knowledge; OSHA-10 safety completion preferred.* Pays attention to detail, can independently problem-solve, and can work with minimal supervision.* Maintain a full set of production tools.* Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required to drive a company vehicle to complete certain tasks.* Employees drive from their home to the job site each day.This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsAdaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionDetail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger pictureAchievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might failInnovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativityJob Skills & QualificationsThe following skills are highly recommended, and the ideal candidate will be able to support Administration in the following areas:Computer LiteracySmartphone LiteracyCustomer ServicePhysical Demand Level - HeavyInterpersonal SkillsVerbal Communication Skills (English/Spanish a plus)Written Communication Skills (English/Spanish a plus)Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
