Technician Location: Boca Raton, FL (100% Onsite) Duration: 6-Month
Contract (with possibility of extension) Pay Rate: $25–30/hour
(depending on experience) Schedule: M-F; 12am – 8am (overnights)
________________________________________ Position Overview We are
seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network Operations Control
Technician to support a 24x7 Network Operations Control Center
(NOCC). This role is responsible for monitoring network
infrastructure, physical security systems, and facility subsystems
while providing clear communication, timely escalation, and
accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has experience working
in a monitoring or operations environment, is comfortable handling
inbound calls and alerts, and can remain calm and professional in
time-sensitive situations. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities • Monitor network infrastructure including
switches, firewalls, circuits, and internet access connections •
Respond to alarms, alerts, and incidents; perform initial
troubleshooting and escalate as required • Support inbound NOCC
phone lines and provide customer and stakeholder status updates •
Exercise tact and professionalism when communicating with tenants,
internal teams, vendors, and the general public • Monitor physical
security systems, site access controls, and surveillance platforms
• Monitor facility subsystems such as HVAC, power, UPS, and access
controls • Monitor tower lighting systems using proprietary
software and process related alarms • Accurately create, update,
and maintain trouble tickets with clear written documentation •
Communicate incidents and status updates via email and ticketing
systems to leadership and operations teams • Perform basic clerical
and administrative tasks to maintain NOCC logs, reports, and
records • Read and respond to NOCC and personal email in a timely
manner • Work collaboratively in a team-based operations
environment • Be available to work overtime, weekends, and rotating
shifts as required to support 24x7 operations • Ability to
temporarily relocate for up to one week to support NOCC operations
during emergency situations • Perform additional duties and special
projects as assigned ________________________________________
Required Qualifications • Experience in a network operations,
monitoring, help desk, or technical support environment •
Familiarity with network components (switches, routers, firewalls,
circuits, LAN/WAN) • Experience using ticketing systems and
documenting incidents clearly and concisely • Strong verbal and
written communication skills • Ability to remain professional and
composed during high-volume or urgent situations • Comfortable
working in a 24x7 operational environment • Strong attention to
detail and ability to follow procedures

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds or
similar platforms) • Exposure to physical security systems, access
control, or surveillance monitoring • Familiarity with facility
monitoring systems (power, HVAC, UPS) • Prior experience in a NOC,
NOCC, telecom, or operations center environment • Military or
