Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM /n• 13-week travel assignment /n• Florida Radiologic Technologist license required /n• ARRT Mammography certification required /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum 1 years recent mammography experience required /n• AHCA required for Florida placements /n• Must have secured housing at time of acceptance /n• Perform routine mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography /n• Conduct needle localization and specimen imaging /n• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients /n• Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols /n• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services /n• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school /n• Must maintain state license as a general radiographer /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community, featuring a full-service radiology department with advanced mammography capabilities.
