Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN
physician for hospital call coverage in Key West, Florida . This is
an excellent opportunity to provide inpatient and outpatient care
in a collaborative environment while enjoying one of the most
desirable locations in the U.S. Coverage Details Start Date:
November 8, 2025 - First rotation is 11/8-11/10 Duration: Ongoing
(locum tenens) Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient (hospital call
only, no clinic) Average Call Volume (24 hrs): 6 phone consults 3
patients seen 2 admissions Call Response Time: 30 minutes Facility

Deliveries per Year: 330 Trauma Level: Not designated EMR: Medhost
Support Staff: 2 RNs and 1 MA Privileges Required: Yes (temporary
privileges available) Estimated Credentialing: 21 days Stroke
Certified Hospital: Yes Requirements License: Active Florida
license required (IMLC not accepted) Board Certification: Required
in Obstetrics & Gynecology Certifications: PALS required;
BLS/ACLS/ATLS not required Required Skills Low- and high-risk
pregnancy management Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
OB ultrasound viability and targeted (anatomic) Routine and
complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section) Breech and
multiple births Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Office/minor gynecology (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP,
cystoscopy) Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic minor
procedures, ectopic management, cystectomy, ovary removal) Travel &
Lodging Nearest Airport: Key West International Airport (EYW)
